General Information
Massachusetts Mental Health Center (MMHC), formerly the Boston Psychopathic Hospital, opened its doors on June 24, 1912. From its inception, the institution was a hybrid of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Harvard Medical School. It is one of the oldest public teaching hospitals in the United States and has trained several generations of leaders in American psychiatry. Located three blocks from Harvard Medical School, it is both a state mental health facility and a center of excellence in academic psychiatry, combining public service with outstanding clinical and research programs. MMHC serves an ethnically diverse catchment area of about 285,000 people in several Boston neighborhoods, with a strong commitment to care of the mentally ill regardless of their financial circumstances. Patients seen at MMHC suffer from the full range of psychiatric illnesses: schizophrenia, affective disorders, serious personality disorders, trauma and anxiety disorders, comorbid substance abuse, and disorders of psychological development. Thus, our patient population runs the gamut from homeless individuals with chronic psychosis to students and working people.
Throughout its 90-year history, the Massachusetts Mental Health Center has had a world renowned reputation for leadership and clinical care of patients; training of psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health clinicians of all disciplines; as well as ground-breaking research in mental health disciplines and neuroscience. The list of alumni who have trained at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center over the years includes numerous national and international leaders, dozens of department chairs, and directors of psychiatric programs around the United States. Among the alumni is one Nobel Prize winner, numerous presidents of the American Psychiatric Association, and several medical school deans.
MMHC has 22 psychiatrists on staff, as well as more than 40 supervisors who are in practice in the Boston area and volunteer their teaching time in the residency-training program. Most MMHC faculty have Harvard Medical School teaching appointments. MMHC had its own psychiatry residency-training program for many years, which is now a part of the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Its faculty is also renowned for its commitment to the teaching of psychology interns, Harvard Medical School students and other mental health trainees.
In addition to training psychiatric residents, fellows, and psychology interns, the Massachusetts Mental Health Center is a major training site for practicing mental health clinicians who wish to continue their medical education. Programs in forensic psychiatry, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and continuing education are given at various locations throughout the year.

A vocational school
Only a special vocational school establishing "a specialized course" can call itself it. Even if it is a special vocational school establishing a high course and a general course, I cannot call myself "a vocational school" if I do not put a specialized course. But it is a usable name even if it puts a public course if it puts even a specialized course even if it puts a high course. In other words there is the person registered at "the high grade course" of the special vocational school which includes the word of "the vocational school" in a name not to mention there being a person registered at "the specialty course" of the special vocational school which includes the word of "the vocational school" in a name, and there is the person registered at "the public course" of the special vocational school which includes the word of "the vocational school" in a name.
専門学校
「専門課程」を置く専修学校だけが称することができる。高等課程や一般課程を置く専修学校であっても、専門課程を置いていなければ「専門学校」と称することはできない。ただし、専門課程さえ置いていれば、高等課程を置いていても一般課程を置いていても、使用できる名称である。すなわち「専門学校」の語を名称に含む専修学校の「専門課程」に在籍する者がいるのはもちろんのこと、「専門学校」の語を名称に含む専修学校の「高等課程」に在籍する者もいるし、「専門学校」の語を名称に含む専修学校の「一般課程」に在籍する者もいる。
